The SCIEX Scholarship Fund was launched as part of the Scientific Exchange Programme between Switzerland and 10 new member states of the European Union, SCIEX–NMSch, for the years 2009–2016. The main goal of projects implemented under the SCIEX Scholarship Fund is to pursue cooperation in research and build partnerships that develop capacities of individual scientists and lead to establishment and strengthening of co-operation between scientists from Switzerland and Poland. This brochure presents the challenges faced, as well as the inspirations and cultural experiences of the grant holders.
